Introducing thesocialgames, a community here on livejournal run by our very own digitaldesigner in which links to Nutsy Bolts and all those cool things will be posted whenever a game is starting.

As as added plus, the creation of this community allows you to find out when games are, and since I'm sure you'll have told your friends about the awesomeness of this, take away the need to have any announcements about games clog up your journal and your flist.

So, I just got off the phone with UPS Customer Service because they won't send me a package. I don't understand their reasoning at all. They say they didn't know if my address was the correct one, yet I have ordered from the same company twice before AND they send me a postcard telling me this. If you didn't know my address, how did you send the postcard UPS?

Now they want me to drive half an hour the pick up my package two towns over and I had to talk to the guy for 45 minutes to get it across to him that I would like them to deliver my package to my freaking house.

I now need to sit here and expect a call from the place that has my package "sometime in the next hour".

Joy.

What if I was someone who actually had a life and couldn't sit here aimlessly for an hour UPS? I mean, I don't, but still.

Maybe it's because my package is from ThinkGeek, so they know I have no life.

*le sigh*

So, I GOT MY COMPUTER BACK!!! FINALLY! I am so happy. I could die right now. Except I'd rather not. I have far too much to do.

So, I missed a lot in the weeks in which I did not have a computer, so right now I am going through various comms and stuff and looking at updates for a lot of fanfiction. I am going to be very busy.

And, on top of catching up on my online life, I have started a new comm here on LJ called valentines4vets.



It's a project I have been wanting to get started where people will make valentines for veterans in the Los Angeles VA Hospital and then mail them to me, then when it gets to be February I will be going to the hospital and delivering them. IF anyone want to check it out and sign-up to participate, feel free to do so (in fact, please do or I will be making over 1,000 cards on my own).

Okay, so this is just to say that my precious laptop recently dies on me. Well, the screen did anyway. I was sitting on main_titles's couch when she told me to get up to look at some odd looking kids walking by and when I did it fell and the screen would not work after that. I took it into the shop about 4 days ago and they said it would be a week just for them to order the part and so I am hoping to have it back ASAP. This is the first time I have been able to get online in like a week and it was killing me. I am currently on main_titles's desktop sifting through my email and trying to respond to people. Now I am off to tell a few land comm mods how sorry I am.
